Duel

Duel your opponent! After 6 rounds the player with the most health is the winner!

Setup

One player takes all Red cards and one Joker.

Another player takes all Black cards and one Joker.

Both players have 10 Hit Points(HP), note this on paper or use dice.

Players shuffle their decks and draw seven cards, this is their starting hand.

Determine randomly who begins as the Active player.

The player with the most HP at the end of Round 6 is the winner.

Round Sequence

1. PLAY   Choose four cards and play them face down
2. REVEAL   Reveal cards, each player grouping their Strikes, then their Guards beneath
3. DECLARE   Starting with the Active player, take turns declaring one Advanced card effect
4. DEFLECT   Each Strike is Discarded by a Guard with a higher value
5. DAMAGE   Strike cards that remain reduce the opponent’s HP by 1 per card
6. DRAW   Discard cards in play and Draw four cards from your Deck
7. REPEAT   Start a new Round, the other player is now Active
